AppleCare+ for iPhone and iPad

Every iPhone and iPad comes with one year of hardware repair coverage through its limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support.

AppleCare+ for iPhone and iPad extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPhone and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a service fee.

How it works

AppleCare+ provides one-stop service and support from Apple experts, so most issues can be resolved in a single call. With AppleCare+ customers get:

  • Direct access to Apple experts
  • Mail-in Carry-in repairs
  • Express replacement service

  • Your iPhone/iPad
  • Battery
  • Included earphones and accessories
  • Coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage, each subject to a service fee

Software support

With AppleCare+ for iPhone, Apple experts can help troubleshoot issues with your iPhone, iOS and iCloud, and Apple-branded apps, including:

  • Using iOS and iCloud
  • Questions about Apple-branded iPhone apps such as FaceTime, Mail and Calendar
  • Connecting to wireless networks

Making a claim

Customers have access to device services, which include those relating to accidental damage coverage, and technical support by contacting Apple directly. Customers can contact Apple either online or over the phone, or visit any Jump.ca Repair Centre. If the customer is making an accidental damage claim they will be subject to a claim fee payable by credit card.

Claim fees

  • iPhone 6 and older will have a $79 service fee for each accidental damage claim. iPhone 6s / Plus and newer will have a service fee of $129
  • iPhones with accidental screen damage will have mail in screen replacement for $39 (no damage to enclosure or frame)
  • iPad accidental damage will be $49 for each claim More information
  • Battery service coverage is available for battery depletion of 50% or more from original specification
  • Mechanical failures are covered at no additional cost to customers
  • Accidental damage from handling includes dents, cracked screens, spills, and liquid submersion affecting the functionality of iPhone/iPad
  • Accidental damage incidents are subject to the applicable service fees (up to 2 incidents)
  • AppleCare+ does not cover cosmetic damage or damage that does not affect the functionality of iPhone/iPad
  • Repair or replacement service may be limited to country of purchase
