eCommerce Marketing Specialist

Jump.ca has a Head Office in Regina and operates 19 retail locations across Saskatchewan, with our 20th store being a robust, full-service eCommerce channel. Our focus on eCommerce has set us apart from others in the industry, and we are seeking an eCommerce Marketing Specialist to help advance us into the future. 

 

As the eCommerce Marketing Specialist, you will have comprehensive experience with scaling a retail e-commerce brand and you are always at the cutting edge of new developments in the eComm space. You love data, you are consumer obsessed and understand the importance of drawing insights from analytics and executing new strategies and tests based on the data learnings. You roll up your sleeves to get things done and can thrive with both execution and planning in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage multi-platform online ad campaigns to drive site visits and conversion to sales
  • Manage all aspects of our website, including content development, product placement, promotional calendar, and all functional improvements designed to continuously optimize the UX experience and drive conversion
  • Collaborate with internal and external developers, copywriters, and designers to improve our website's usability and conversion rate
  • Monitor website activity, overall performance and key performance indicators and develop plans to improve them
  • Drive eCommerce Innovation while actively managing and owning the eCommerce platform and content, product merchandising, user experience and continued improvements
  • Create a seamless and integrated customer experience across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile, app)
  • Serve as an internal ecommerce thought leader; identifying digital marketing trends, new technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity, and learning opportunities that help drive business success
  • Accelerate the execution of retention strategies such as rewards, referrals, app and identify opportunities for growth based on traffic sources, journeys, and user behavior

 

Your Measures of success:

  • Hit annual sales and revenue targets
  • Achieve or exceed all digital KPIs set out by marketing strategy
  • Analyze data to continuously optimize and improve performance
  • Implement industry best-practices across all workstreams

 

What you need:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, E-Commerce, IT, or relevant field
  • 3+ years' experience in E-commerce, ideally with Shopify & Amazon platforms
  • Knowledge and experience in successful practices and techniques that help drive conversion
  • Proven ability to forecast sales, analyze data and situations, and act accordingly
  • Proactive, autonomous, and accountable for results in your work
  • Experience with web development and digital media planning is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with a variety of functional areas
